Kale is one of my favorite ingredients, and roasting them in the oven makes them light and crispy. These kale chips are a healthy snack ready in 30 minutes! You can also use this method for any greens.
2 cups of kale
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. nutritional yeast
1 tsp. sea salt
1/2-1 tsp. red pepper flakes (optional)
Wash the kale and pat dry. Strip the leaves and roughly chop. In a medium bowl toss the kale with a generous amount of olive oil, 3-5 tbsp., until its well coated. Add in the garlic powder, nutritional yeast, sea salt, and red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined. Spread evenly on a baking sheet and bake at 250*F for 15 minutes. Lightly toss and continue to bake for another 15 minutes and enjoy!
