Cherries, coconut flakes, and a touch of cinnamon, this is one of my favorites to make. It just takes a few minutes to prepare the night before and in the morning, you’re ready to start the day with a filling healthy breakfast! 

Yield:  1 serving

Ingredients:

¼ cup whole rolled oats

2 tbsp. golden raisins

½ tbsp. ground flax-seed

¼ tsp. cinnamon

1 tbsp. unsweetened coconut flakes

10 almonds

½ cup almond, rice, cashew, or soy milk

¼ cup fresh cherries, pitted

Preparation:

Wash the cherries, remove the stems, and the pits. Chop into small pieces and set aside.

In a medium container, or mason jar fill with the oats on the bottom, add the raisins, flax-seed, cinnamon, coconut, almonds, and milk.

Stir and add the milk. Cover and let sit overnight in the refrigerator.

In the morning add the fresh cherries and you’re done!
