I’m addicted to smoothies……such a great way to get fruits and vegetables into your body! So delicious, this drink is packed with bright flavors perfect for after a workout or breakfast on the run. Filled with sweet pineapple juice, brightness from the lemon, and collard greens to get some veggies too. Grab your blender and let’s get started!
Yield: 1 large or two small smoothies.
1 cup pineapple juice
1 cup filtered water
1 1/2 frozen bananas
1/4 lemon (whole with peel or you can juice it)
2 tbsp. whole rolled oats
1/2 cup collard greens, kale, or spinach
1/3 cup frozen peaches or nectarines
3-6 ice cubes
Add all ingredients into a blender and blend well until thoroughly mixed and enjoy.
