I know what you may be thinking…..celery juice? Stick with me here the taste is so light and refreshing. Plus in the mornings or evenings before bed this drink is very relaxing.  Give this a try! Celery is great for the body to detox, plus you get all the great benefits of tea.

Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients:

1 herbal tea bag or loose tea (I love to use chamomile, lemon, orange, or pomegranate herbal teas)

2-3 stalks of celery with leaves

1/4 lemon juiced

1/4 lime juiced

Preparation:

I don’t have a juicer, so I made this with my high powered blender.

If using a juicer:

Juice the celery and add all the ingredients into a small pot to heat up on the stove. Heat 3-5 minutes for the tea to brew and enjoy.

If using a blender:

Wash and chop the celery stalks and add to your blender along with 1 cup of water. Blend on high until juiced. Strain if needed into a small pot. Add in the juice of lemon, lime,  and the herbal tea. Heat for 3-5 minutes until hot and the tea is brewed and enjoy!
