This year I’ve been focusing on become more self sufficient and creating my own products from scratch and this also includes health and beauty items. Shopping at a supermarket or specialty store especially for bath and beauty products can really add up quickly.
Self care is so important and making your own bath soaks can save you time and money with no harsh chemicals and more money in your pocket. This bath is great to take in the evenings to relax and unwind from the day.
Yield: 1 bath
1 cup Epsom salts https://amzn.to/31Qwc0n
1 cup apple cider vinegar https://amzn.to/3gCyO6h
a few drops of essential oils like lavender, tea tree, or lemongrass https://amzn.to/3iB2K4r
Draw a hot bath and pour the salt and vinegar under running water. Add in the oils or tea bags if using. Soak in bath for 30 minutes and enjoy. This also works great for a foot soak, just scale down the ingredients to 1/4 cup of each.
Also make sure to drink plenty of water after the bath. Apple cider vinegar with the Epsom salts are detoxing for the body and its always important when detoxing to properly hydrate.
